Alekseev Ivan Spiridonovich

Genus. in 1897 in St. Petersburg; Russian; secondary education (according to other sources, primary); member of the CPSU(b) in 1924–1927 (expelled “for participation in the opposition”) and in 1929–1935. He worked in the printing house of the Krasnaya Gazeta (Leningrad, 1927–1928), chairman of the factory committee of the NPO printing house (1933–1935). In February 1935, the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks was sent to the Omsk region; worked as a deputy director of the state farm of the Ishim Meat and Dairy Trust in the Abatsky district; dismissed in October 1935, expelled from the CPSU(b) in November. In March 1936 he returned to Leningrad, did not work, lived at the address: Kalashnikovskaya embankment, 32/33 apt. 56. Arrested on 27. (according to other sources, 29.) 08.1936, accused of “c/r Trotskyist activities.” By resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated October 15, 1936, he was sentenced under Art. 58-10, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in labor camp. In custody in the Solovetsky branch of the Belbaltlag (arrived on November 12, 1936 at the Anzer camp). By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 2, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on November 1, 1989 by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office.
