Genus. 05/19/1897 in Odessa; Jew; higher education; member of the CPSU (b) in 1920–1936. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Commercial School (1914). In 1916 he was drafted into the tsarist army, from June to October 1917 he was a cadet at the engineering school of warrant officers. After the October Revolution, he worked at the Petrograd Regional Food Commissariat. In May 1919 he was drafted into the Red Army as a private and sent to the Pskov Front. He was captured by Yudenich and escaped (according to other sources, he served as a cadet in Yudenich’s army for one month). He was arrested in 1918 and 1919. He served in the Red Army until 1926, a political worker; retired with the rank of colonel. In 1925, Irkutsk chess champion. In 1927–1930 he studied at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, and upon graduation worked there as a senior assistant. He taught political economy at the Financial Academy, State University and a number of other universities; In recent years, he has been an associate professor in communications economics at the Leningrad Communications Educational Plant. Lived in Leningrad (address before arrest: Syezzhinskaya st., 37, apt. 13). Arrested 08/31/1936. Sentenced on December 28, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 58-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 8 years in prison with loss of rights for 5 years and confiscation of property. Imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp. By a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/14/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 1, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on September 24, 1957 by the decision of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR
