Genus. in 1940. Student at the railway technical school in Vilnius, Lithuanian SSR. Member of the underground youth circle “Freedom for Lithuania”: they distributed leaflets and hung flags (1957). Convicted in the same case with P. Plumpa and others. Political prisoner (1958-1960, ZH-385, released on parole).
