Gardener
Born in 1883 in the village of Sun, Embotninskaya v., Gazenpotsky u., Courland province. Latvian, primary education. Lived in Leningrad, Khersonskaya st., bldg. 20, apt. 36. Gardener at the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences. Arrested on 26.04.1936 under Art. 58-10, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. On 27.06.1936, a Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court sentenced him under Art. 58-10, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 6 years' imprisonment and 3 years' disqualification. By the determination of the Special Collegium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated 29.07.1936, the sentence was upheld. In custody in Correctional Colony No. 25 (Nebolchsky Quarry) and on Solovki, where he arrived on 12.11.1936. On 14 February 1938, a special troika of the Leningrad Regional Directorate of the NKVD sentenced him to capital punishment for "counterrevolutionary fascist agitation among prisoners". He was shot on Solovki on 17 February 1938. He was rehabilitated by the Arkhangelsk Regional Prosecutor's Office on 26 July 1989.
