Levin Aron Evelevich
Genus. 04/21/1931 in the village of Ushachi, Vitebsk region. Belarus. Student at the Leningrad Shipbuilding College. Arrested on March 15, 1951 on charges of involvement in the Youth Workers' Party of Communists (YWPK). Sent to Moscow, Lefortovo prison. Convicted on January 24, 1952 under Art. 58-8, 58-10, 58-11 to 25 years in maximum security camps. In custody in Steplag (Dzhezgazgan). Released by decision of the Supreme Court of the USSR on September 15, 1955 (the articles were replaced by 58-12 (non-reporting), the article was amnestied). Rehabilitated in 1958. After his release, he graduated from technical school and institute, and worked at the Proletarskaya Pobeda No. 2 shoe factory. Member of the Memorial Society since 1988. Died in St. Petersburg on August 1, 2011.
