Lisichkin Boris Georgievich
Born in 1913 in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Leningrad Military Mechanical Institute (1936), specializing in "Artillery Installations". Candidate of Engineering Sciences (1949). Worked in the design bureau of the Leningrad Bolshevik Plant. Until the mid-1950s, he worked at Plants No. 221 and No. 75, in TsAKB and MATsKB, from a design engineer to the head of a subdepartment, participating in the creation of many naval artillery weapons systems. Head of Department of TsKB-34 (MATsKB) (1950-1963); deputy chief designer of KBSM (TsKB-34) (1963-1978). Under his leadership, the first launchers in the USSR for launching missiles from submarines and the first launch complexes for land-based silos of ICBMs were created. Conducted extensive scientific and teaching work: senior lecturer (1938-1945); associate professor at LVMI (1945-1960). Inventor. Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the 1st degree (1951) and the Lenin Prize (1961).
