Born in 1906 in Sosnitsa (Chernigov region, Ukraine). Jewish, no citizenship, higher education. Worked as a technical editor for the newspaper of the Marty plant. Lived in Leningrad (Zhukovskogo st., bldg. 22, apt. 3). Arrested on July 5, 1941. Accused of ASD, sentenced on February 21, 1942 by the NKVD of the Krasnoyarsk Committee to 10 years in a labor camp. He was held in Minusinsk prison, and from 1942 in OLP-6 and OLP-10 in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. Released on December 8, 1950. After his release, he lived in Kansk, then in Zhdanov (now Mariupol), and in 1994 in St. Petersburg.
