He was a researcher at the Institute of Atomic Energy named after. Kurchatov and at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. At the same time, he taught at the Armored Academy named after. R. Ya. Malinovsky. In 1976, he lost his job in his specialty due to criticism of the Soviet regime. Moved to permanent residence in the USA, lives in Washington.
