Lozovsky Leonid Abramovich
Definition: Senior engineer of the laboratory of nuclear geophysics of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences.

Genus. in 1938, graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute. He was engaged in surveys of planned railway and highway routes in Siberia, searches and exploration of mineral resources, geophysical surveys to predict earthquakes, design of geophysical instruments and equipment that protects liquid-fuel rocket engines from explosions. He worked in a number of scientific institutions in positions from Art. engineer to st. scientific co-workers, beginning detachment in geological and geophysical organizations, as well as in brick factories and construction organizations as a mechanic, mason and finisher. He was among the signatories of the “Letter of Forty-Six” addressed to the Prosecutor General of the USSR, Comrade Rudenko, regarding the trial of Ginzburg, Galanskov, Dobrovolsky and Lashkova. He was forced to leave the Institute of Geology and Geophysics at the end of 1968. Author of about 10 Russian patents, more than 20 copyright certificates. Currently lives in Latvia.
