In exile he worked as the head of the department of the Arkhangelsk Medical Institute. Since 1939 he lived in Kyiv, head of the Department of Semiconductors of the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. During the Second World War - in the evacuation in Ufa. Rehabilitated VT LVO 07/15/1957. He died on December 1, 1974 in Kyiv, and was buried at the Baikove cemetery.
