In 1924 he lived in Leningrad, a student at Leningrad State University; arrested 04/12/1924; was accused of being a member of an anti-Soviet group whose goal was to organize dissatisfied students to fight the Soviet regime and the Communist Party; sentenced by the OS at KOGPU on September 12, 1924 to imprisonment for 3 years (according to other sources, sentenced in July 1925 to imprisonment in SLON). By the Decree of the OS KOGPU dated 10/07/1927, after serving his sentence, he was deprived of the right to reside in Moscow, Leningrad, Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa, Rostov-on-Don, and the designated provinces with attachment to a specific place of residence for 3 years. Rehabilitated by the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office on December 3, 1998.
