In 1923 he lived in Petrograd, unemployed; arrested on November 3, 1923 on charges of being a member of an underground organization; sentenced by the OS Kogpu on May 16, 1924 to 3 years in a concentration camp. By resolution of the OS KOGPU dated April 15, 1927, he was sentenced to deportation after serving his sentence in Siberia for 3 years. By resolution of the OS KOGPU dated 04/23/1930, after serving his term, he was sentenced to deprivation of the right to reside in the Moscow, Leningrad regions, Ukrainian SSR, SKK, BVO, Nizhny Novgorod Territory, IPO, Dagestan and border districts with attachment to a specific place of residence for 3 years.
