Born on August 20, 1938 in the Ukrainian SSR, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Kosovo district, Utoropi village; Ukrainian; secondary education (incomplete higher education - student of correspondence courses at the Gorky Moscow Literary Institute); woodcarver, poet. Arrested on January 24, 1972. Sentenced by the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court on May 11, 1972 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 3 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in the Perm camps, ITK-35. Participated in the struggle of political prisoners for their rights. Released in March 1975, returned to his homeland. Arrested in December 1978, sentenced in April 1978 by the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court to 4 years in prison under Art. 188 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. In 1990 he lived in the village. Hurry up. Died 03/29/1995.
