Andronikov Yasse Nikolaevich
Lawyer, actor, director
Genus. 04/09/1893 in Tiflis; Georgian; from the nobles, prince; higher education. Graduated from a gymnasium in Tiflis, Faculty of Law in St. Petersburg. university. Participant of the 1st World War, served as a soldier in the Wild Division, awarded the St. George Cross. Demobilized due to injury, in 1915–17 he studied in the Corps of Pages, upon graduation he was accepted into the Uhlan regiment, headquarters captain. In 1919–21 in Denikin's army, senior officer. Later he worked as an economist. Arrested on 04/08/09/1921 in Tbilisi, held in Metekhi prison, released upon petition. Lived in Voronezh, then in Moscow, worked as a lawyer, attorney. Arrested on April 2, 1926, accused of “counter-revolutionary connections with employees of foreign missions.” By decision of the OGPU Collegium dated April 13, 1926, the investigation was terminated and he was released with a ban on working as a lawyer. He worked in the theater as an actor and dancer; taught modern dance and plastic arts at GITIS; acted as a director. Arrested on June 11, 1931 in Tbilisi on charges of espionage. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated October 28, 1932, he was sentenced under Art. 58-6 to 10 years in labor camp. He spent several months in Tashkent, then was sent to the Narpai state farm (Uzbekistan). 10.25.1935 sent to work in Balkhashstroy. According to some sources, he fled; 12/14/1935 put on the all-Union wanted list. According to other sources, in January 1936 he became seriously ill and was admitted to a Karaganda hospital. At the beginning of March 1936 he was discharged from the hospital and in April he was sent to the Solovetsky camp. He worked as a director at the camp. In the fall of 1937 he was transferred to prison regime (Kremlin camp department). By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on October 27, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated.
