In 1987-1989 He was the organizer and chairman of the Ukrainian Cultural Club. In 1989, he published the independent newspaper “Voice of Rebirth”. Since 1989, he worked as a columnist for Radio Liberty, was a co-founder, co-owner and general director of the Ukrainian Independent News Agency "Respublika" (UNIAR); since 1994 - president of the Ukrainian Media Club and editor-in-chief of the Hot Line press center; For some time he conducted a night broadcast on the Era television company. In 1994 he was editor-in-chief of the joint press center "Elections-94", and in 1998-1999. editor-in-chief of the joint press center "Elections-98", "Elections-99". Lived in Kyiv. Died 2003
