Osokin Igor Petrovich

Born 26.01.1903 in Saint Petersburg; Russian; higher education - graduated from the Leningrad Technological Institute in 1929, mechanical engineer ; no p. In 1924-1927 he worked as a designer at the Krasny Putilovets and K. Marx plants in Leningrad. In 1927-1930 he was an engineer at the Barrikady plant (Stalingrad). In 1930-1932 he worked as an engineer at Giprospetsmet and the Gorky plant. Returned to Leningrad. In 1932-1934 he was the head of the technical bureau of the tractor shop at the Krasny Putilovets plant. From 1934 - deputy technical director of the Leningrad plant No. 181 "Engine" (according to other sources, the head of the assembly shop). In 1935-1936, he was a part-time professor at Department No. 30 of the Military Mechanical Institute, teaching a course on "Technological Planning of Torpedo Weapon Production". He lived in Leningrad, 25 Oktyabrya Ave., Building 18, Apt. 11. He was taken into custody on 25 January 1937 in Feodosia, where he was on a business trip (testing the D-4 torpedo in Dvukhyakornaya Bay), and sent to Leningrad. He was arrested on 11 February 1937 and accused of "participating in a Trotskyist-Zinoviev counterrevolutionary conspiracy". He was sentenced on 5 May 1937 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad under Articles 58-7, 8, and 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on May 6, 1937. Burial place unknown. Rehabilitated on July 6, 1957 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
