Genus. in 1892 on the Virken estate, village. Ruen Valmiera district of Livonia province, Latvian, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1920. From 1915 to 1918 was a prisoner of war in Germany. From 1923 to 1935 worked in the Cheka. At the time of his arrest, he was a pensioner, living in Leningrad, Engels Ave., 33/37, apt. 64.
Arrested 07/12/1938 UNKVD LO, accused of counter-revolutionary nationalist agitation as an agent of German intelligence agencies (Articles 58-6 and 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR), sentenced to 7 years in labor camp by the Resolution of the Special Troika UNKVD LO dated October 22, 1938, sent to Vyatlag NKVD, died in custody on July 26, 1942. (p/o Lesnoye, Kirov region). Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District dated December 24, 1958.
