Born 09.01.1905 in the village of Moskvino, Tver Governorate; Russian; from a peasant family; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1924-1936. In 1917-1923 he was a courier in Moscow. In 1923-1926 he lived in Leningrad, studied at the vocational school at the Electrosila plant. From 1926 he worked as a mechanic at the Elektroapparat plant, studied at the workers' faculty. From 1929 he was a student of the electromechanical faculty of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. In 1932 he was expelled from the party for disagreeing with the resolution of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) on the reorganization of universities, and was later reinstated with a reprimand. From the party profile: "<...> categorically refused public work, immersing himself in complete academicism... Has political dislocations (Trotskyism) <...> Has a tendency to isolation." In 1934, he graduated from the LEMI Institute, specializing in Electrical Equipment. He was a design engineer at the Elektrik plant. He was arrested on September 28, 1936 and again expelled from the party. He was sentenced by the decree of the OSO NKVD of the USSR on January 27, 1937 to 3 years in a labor camp. He was imprisoned in a coal mine in Vorkuta (Ukhtpechlag). After his release (September 29, 1939), he became the head of the electrical engineering department of PechorNIIproekt. He was rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on October 26, 1956. He died in 1974.
