Genus. in 1896 in Odessa in the family of a minor customs employee; Pole; higher education; in 1914–1916 member of the RSDLP(b); in 1916 he briefly joined the Menshevik Internationalists; in 1917–1935 member of the CPSU (b). Trade unionist. In 1924–1927, member of the Sevzapkino artistic council, executive editor of the Leningrad newspaper Kino. In 1935 he lived in Leningrad, expelled from the party for belonging to the Zinoviev opposition (reinstated in 1955); arrested by UNKVD LO, sentenced under Art. 58-10 part 1 to 3 years of labor camp. During the war, at the front, he was shell-shocked. In 1949 - again in Leningrad, worked as an accountant in the Muzgiz printing house; arrested 08/08/1949; sentenced by the OS under the USSR MGB on 05/06/1950 as an ESR to exile to the North Kazakh region of the Kazakh SSR for 10 years. After 1955 - in Leningrad, he worked at the BAN. Died in 1978. Rehabilitated in cases of 1935 and 1950 by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR on July 20, 1955.
