Sentenced in 1942 by the Military Tribunal of the Yaroslavl Region for evading military service under Art. 193-10, paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced to 10 years. By the definition of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated April 16, 1943, the period was reduced to 2 years with sending to the front. Arrested for the second time on June 27, 1949 by the UMGB LO. Charged under Art. 58-10 "a", 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (actively engaged in anti-Soviet activities). On January 7, 1950, he was sentenced to 8 years in labor camp under the Ministry of State Security of the USSR. By the decision of the meeting of the Central Commission for the review of cases against persons convicted of counter-revolutionary crimes of September 27, 1954, he was released from custody. By a decision of the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court dated 04/06/1956, the case was dismissed due to the lack of corpus delicti. Died March 1989
