Definition: Russian, Lithuanian, Soviet neo-Kantian philosopher of the Marburg school. Professor at Kaunas and Vilnius universities.

Years of life: 1884-1963

In 1950 he was arrested and sentenced to 15 years in the camps (initially in the Taishet camp). Released in 1956. Rehabilitated in 1958.
