Born on January 13, 1898 in Friedrichstadt, Courland province; Jew; from the bourgeoisie; secondary education; member of the CPSU(b) in 1920–1936 (expelled). Before his arrest, he lived in Leningrad (Pargolovskaya street, 1, apt. 1); Art. technician at the Hydromontage office of the Soyuzstalmost trust. Arrested on August 29, 1936, accused of “c/r Trotskyist activities.” By resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated October 15, 1936, he was sentenced to 5 years in labor camp. In custody on Solovki (arrived on 11/12/1936 at the Anzer camp). In 1937, for “preparing an escape,” he was placed in a special-purpose convoy. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 2, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in August 1989 by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office
