Genus. in 1865 in the village. Almaluk Tuapse district; Ukrainian; lived there. Head of the Desert-Tikhvin Monastery. Arrested by the OGPU 16.09-12.10 1929. Accused of being a member of an illegal church-monarchist counter-revolutionary organization, conducting active anti-Soviet agitation aimed at disrupting economic and political measures carried out by the government and eliminating Soviet power in the Black Sea region. By decision of the Krai Political Troika at the OGPU PP dated February 27, 1930, he was sentenced to VMN with confiscation of property. Rehabilitated in 1990 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated January 16, 1989 "On additional measures to restore justice for victims of political repression that took place between 1930-1940 and the early 1950s."
