Ballod Georgy Alexandrovich
Born in 1903 in St. Petersburg; member of the RSDLP(m). In 1923 he lived in Petrograd (8-ya Rozhdestvenskaya St., Bldg. 47, Apt. 18), a student at PSU. Arrested on November 3, 1923, accused of membership in an underground counter-revolutionary organization; by a decree of the deputy provincial prosecutor dated January 3, 1924, the case was closed, and he was released from custody. Arrested again on April 10, 1924, accused of counter-revolutionary agitation; sentenced by the OS KOGPU on July 18, 1924 to deprivation of the right to reside in all university cities of the country for 3 years with release from custody. In the 1930s he lived in Leningrad (Glazovskaya St., Bldg. 20, Apt. 13), worked as a technical director at the Lenin Plant. Arrested in 1934. Rehabilitated by the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office on May 23, 1994.
