Genus. in 1910 in the town of Radomyshl, Kyiv province. She was brought up in an orphanage. She graduated from a factory school in Kyiv, and from the age of 15 she worked in a shoe factory. She continued her education at the Kiev Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Literature (1930-1934), and in graduate school at the Institute of Jewish Culture of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1935-1939. worked as editor of Glavlit, National Publishing House. During the Great Patriotic War, she was evacuated to Ufa, where she worked as a cultural worker in an artel and as an Oblit censor. In 1945-1952 - editor of textbooks at the Radyanskaya School publishing house.She made her debut in literature in 1928. She published poems in Jewish periodicals in Ukraine, Moscow, and Minsk. Author of the books “In Iberuf” (Roll Call) 1934; “Lichtike stezhkes” (Bright paths) 1940; “Goldener bletherfal” (Golden leaf fall) 1978. A total of 15 of her books have been published.
In 1952 she was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison. 12/17/1955 released, 01/09/1956 rehabilitated and reinstated in the Writers' Union of Ukraine.
