Born in 1884 in the village. Glitany Krakinovo parish. Panevezys district Kovno province; Lithuanian; son of a handicraftsman; member of the CPSU (b) in 1917–1932. Before the arrest, a mechanic at the plant named after. Kirov. Lived in Oranienbaum (Ivanovskaya street, 2, apt. 1). Arrested on March 27, 1932, on charges of participation “in an underground Trotskyist group.” Sentenced on June 17, 1932 by a visiting session of the OGPU Collegium under Art. 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 3 years of deportation to Western Siberia. After his release from exile, he worked as a heating mechanic at the glass factory named after. 3rd Communist Voluntary Detachment. Lived in Malaya Vishera (5th Poperechnaya St., 35). Arrested for the second time on June 22, 1936, accused of participating in “the Trotskyist-Zinoviev organization that committed <...> the murder of S.M. Kirov". Sentenced on December 27, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 17-58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison with disqualification for 5 years and confiscation of property. In custody on Solovki. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10.10.1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 4, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated November 18, 1971.
