Urazhtsev Vitaly Georgievich

Born 1944; graduated from Moscow State University. Lomonosov, Military-Political Academy named after. Lenin; served in the Armed Forces of the USSR, reserve lieutenant colonel; was elected as a people's deputy of the Russian Federation (1990-1993), was a member of the Committee of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation on International Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations. He advocated democratization of the army and military reform. In February 1989, he was expelled from the CPSU "for demagogic statements addressed to the Armed Forces of the USSR."
