Tselkov Oleg Nikolaevich

Genus. in 1944. From 1949 to 1953 he studied at the Moscow Art School. One year he studied at the Minsk Art Institute, another year - at the Academy of Arts. I. E. Repin in Leningrad, was expelled. He was admitted to the production department at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema. N. K. Cherkasov, where he completed his education. A student of N. P. Akimov. The first apartment exhibition in Moscow took place in 1956. In 1961 he moved to Moscow. The first official personal exhibition was held in 1965 at the Institute of Atomic Physics. Kurchatov in Moscow. Since the 1970s he has exhibited in Europe and the USA. In 1977, at the "proposal" of the authorities, he left the USSR. Lives in Paris. He did not accept French citizenship, and remained stateless for almost four decades. In June 2015 he was admitted to the citizenship of the Russian Federation. In 2004, 2 personal exhibitions of Tselkov were held: in the Russian Museum and in the State Tretyakov Gallery.
