Being a prisoner of Sevvostlag, he was arrested on April 28, 1938. Sentenced by the NKVD troika for Dalstroy to VMN, he was on death row for 60 days. The sentence was replaced by 10 years in labor camp. Released in 1942. From 1942 to 1945 he worked at Vostsibolovo in Irkutsk, at Altaizoloto, in Khakassia. Since 1945 - in Leningrad, worked at Lenuglegeologiya. Arrested on June 9, 1949, he was kept in solitary confinement for 8.5 months. On 02/04/1950, the USSR Ministry of State Security sentenced him to 10 years in labor camp. He served time in Kazakhstan, in Karaganda. Rehabilitated in 1956
