Tsyplyaev Sergey Alekseevich

Born March 5, 1955 in Leningrad. Education: Faculty of Physics, Leningrad State University (1979), Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1983). He worked as an intern researcher at the Leningrad Mathematical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, then as a junior researcher at the State Optical Institute. From 1986 to 1992 - Scientific Secretary of the State Optical Institute. In 1989-1992 - People's Deputy of the USSR from the Komsomol, member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Secretary of the Committee for Defense and State Security of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. In 1992 he graduated from the Management Department of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. From August 31, 1992 to January 29, 2000 - Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg.
