Chimonin Vladimir Makarovich
Born in 1931 in the village of Aleksandrovka, Vradiyevsky district, Nikolaev region, Ukrainian SSR. Russian, 7th grade education, auto mechanic apprentice at Stalinometallurgstroy. Arrested on November 11, 1949 in Donetsk (former Stalino) on charges of attempted murder of a government official. Sentenced on April 14, 1950 by the Military Tribunal under Article 54-8 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 25 years in a penal colony and 5 years in exile. Imprisoned in Steplag (Churbay-Kura settlement, 1950-1951, penal colony No. B-517), in the Norilsk Special Camp (1952-1953), then in camps in the Magadan Region: in Magadan (P.O. Box 261/16; 1953-1954), the village of Yagodnoye (P.O. box 216/24; 1954-1955), Budyonny settlement (P.O. box 261/265 "a"; 1956-1958); Irkutsk region (Vikhorevka station, P.O. box 410/4-16; 1959-1960), Mordovia (Potma, P.O. box 385/10; 1960-1963), Vladimir prison (P.O. box OD-1; 1963-1964), again in Mordovia (Potma, P.O. box 385/10; Yavas, P.O. box 385/11; 1964-1970), in the Perm camp (P.O. box 389/36; 1970-1973), Kemerovo region (P.O. box UN 1612/29; since 1973). Released on September 10, 1976, lived in Donetsk, was under administrative supervision for 2 years.
