Born in Paris in the family of a Russian doctor. Since 1900 he lived in St. Petersburg. Member of the RSDR since 14. Mobilized into the Russian Army in 1916. Participant in the Civil War. He filled up party positions: in 1923-1924, head of a department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Turkmenistan; in 1924-1925 secretary of the Tsaritsyn provincial committee of the RCP (b); 1925-1928 Deputy Head of the Department of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; in 1928-1930 secretary of the Lower Volga Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; in 1931-1934, first secretary of the North Caucasus Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; in 1934-1937, first secretary of the Azov-Black Sea regional committee of the CPSU (b); 1930-1937 member of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; in 1927-1930 member of the Central Control Commission of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks; Member of the USSR Central Executive Committee; Delegate to the XV-XVII Congresses of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Since 1937 - first secretary of the Kursk regional committee of the CPSU (b).Arrested 06/10/1937. Convicted by the Supreme Court of the Supreme Court on March 14, 1956. Sentenced to DVY/Rkabilited 03/14/1956.
