Born in 1919 in Zaporozhye. Student at the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute. In 1945 she was repatriated from Germany, Markbrandenburg. In December 1947 she was sent to special settlement in the Molotovobad district of the Tajik SSR. Removed from the special settlement register on 04.02.1956. Died in 1957.

Archival certificate of the Information Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 13/6-Ш-21 dated 06.07.1994, stating that Shepel V.D. after repatriation from Germany, in December 1947, was sent to a special settlement in the Molotovobad district of the Tajik SSR together with her niece Shepel Yu.I., removed from the register of the special settlement on 04.02.1956.
