He served as head of a department in the office of the Minister of Railways with the rank of state councilor. Representative member of the Commission for the International Exchange of Publications. In 1933 he worked as a technical translator for the Svirstroy Administration. Arrested on 03/09/1933 by the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District on charges of Art. Art. 58-10, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (“c/r propaganda or agitation”, “c/r organizational activity”). By resolution of the Troika PP OGPU dated April 13, 1933, he was sentenced to imprisonment in a concentration camp for a period of 5 years, the imprisonment was replaced by deportation to the Northern Territory for the same period. He served in the village. Ledegensk, Vologda region. Rehabilitated 05/30/1958.
