Born in 1912 in Novorzhev. Lived in Leningrad (6 Tchaikovsky St., Apt. 2). Fourth-year student of the electric welding department of the Leningrad Industrial Institute. Sentenced by the Leningrad Regional Department of the NKVD on 31.03.1935 as a SES to exile to Saratov for 5 years. By the decree of the USSR Regional Department of the NKVD on 02.04.1936, the exile was cancelled.
