Born in 1893 in Krasny, Smolensk province. Studied at the Institute of Railway Engineers (1912-1916), graduated from the Naval Engineering School in Kronstadt, mechanical engineer of the submarine fleet. From 1918 he worked in road construction in the Smolensk region. From 1931 he lived in Leningrad (Karpovka embankment, bldg. 30/2, apt. 39). Employee of the Leningrad department of the Central Research Institute of Highways, from 1932 - at the Institute of Industrial Transport Engineers (since 1934 - at the Faculty of Industrial Transport of the Leningrad Industrial Institute), associate professor in the department of road transport, head of the department and road laboratory from 1935. Simultaneously, before his arrest, associate professor of the Highway Institute. Arrested on 16.06.1937. By the Resolution of the Commission of the NKVD and the Prosecutor of the USSR dated 25.08.1937, he was sentenced to capital punishment. He was executed on 27.08.1937. He was rehabilitated on 20.09.1957.
