Born in 1897 in   Valka District , Livonia Governorate; Latvian; higher education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Head of the Department of Educational Institutions of the Main Directorate of the Civil Military Fleet, colonel. Lived in Moscow, Tverskaya-Yamskaya St., Bldg. 4a, Apt. 17. Arrested on 19 December 1937. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 20 June 1938 on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization. Executed on 20 June 1938 in Moscow, burial place - Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in March 1956.
