Butyrsky Nikolay Mstislavovich
Head of the educational department of the school-colony "Red Dawns" in the Mikhailovka estate near Strelna
Born in 1878 in Riga; no n. Worked as the head of the educational department of the school-colony "Krasnye Zori". Lived in the village of Strelna, Krasnoselsky District, Leningrad Region. Arrested on September 30, 1937. Sentenced on November 17, 1937 by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court under Art. 58-7-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. On December 16, 1937, the Judicial Supervisory Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR, by way of pardon, changed the sentence to 10 years in a correctional labor camp; on February 5, 1938, the same body reduced the term to 8 years. On July 20, 1940, the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the USSR requalified the sentence under Art. 109. His subsequent fate is unknown. The case was destroyed in 1969. It was opened due to newly discovered circumstances in 1989. He was rehabilitated in 1990.
