Kartashov (Kartashev) Pavel Vasilievich
Design engineer of Gipromez
Born in 1884 in Voronezh; Russian; from the nobility; no n; higher education - engineer-economist . Brother of a former officer who was shot as a member of a spy organization in 1929. Worked as a design engineer at Gipromez. Lived in Leningrad, Kirochnaya St., Bldg. 32, Apt. 51. Arrested on 31.12.1934 by the NKVD Directorate for Leningrad Oblast, charged under Art. 58-10, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR . Sentenced by the Special Special Department of the NKVD of the USSR on 07.07.1935 to 3 years in a correctional labor camp. Arrested on 16.09.1937. Sentenced by the troika of the NKVD Directorate for North Kazakhstan Oblast on 20.11.1937 to capital punishment. Shot on 22.11.1937. Rehabilitated in the 1934 case. by the resolution of the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court dated 25.04.1958 and in the case of 1937 by the resolution of the Presidium of the North Kazakhstan Regional Court dated 01.09.1956.
