Vedeneev Rudolf Borisovich

Born in 1939 in Perm. In 1967 he entered the correspondence department of the Faculty of History of PSU. He worked at a factory as a loader foreman. Got married. He worked as a modeler in art workshops. Arrested on September 11, 1970 for distributing samizdat literature. Sentenced by the Perm Regional Court on February 12, 1971 under Art. 190-1 by 3 years in a strict regime penal colony. Contained in 1971–1972. in prison, then in Kisellag, Perm region. In October 1972, he was released under an amnesty in connection with the 50th anniversary of the formation of the USSR. After 1973, he studied at the art and graphic department of the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical Institute. In 1988–1991 actively participated in the first Memorial conferences. Rehabilitated in 1993. Author of projects for monuments and memorial plaques (partially implemented) to victims of political repression in Perm, Solikamsk, on the territory of the memorial complex "Perm-36" (Kuchino village, Perm region). In 2012 he lived in Perm. Died 05/21/2018.
