Member of the Romanian Communist Party since 1922, member of the CPSU since 1930, party card No. 07285027. In 1923 he lived in the city of Beltsy (Bessarabia). Member of the leading five of the Beltsy city illegal communist organization. Studied at the Kyiv Soviet Party School. Worked in the Romanian section of the Comintern, then in the Moldavian SSR. In 1937 he was expelled from the party, reinstated in September 1956. In 1957 he lived in Nizhny Tagil. He worked as an electric crane operator at a metallurgical plant.
