Born in 1878 in Libava (now Liepaja); ethnic Armenian; higher education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Physiologist, academician. Lived in Moscow. Arrested on 28.01.1949. Sentenced by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 18.07.1952 under Articles 58-1a, 58-10, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 3.5 years in a labor camp and 3 years of disenfranchisement. Was exiled to Dzhambul. In 1953, under an amnesty, she was allowed to return to Moscow. Rehabilitated in November 1958.
