Pasynkov Yakov Andreevich
Head of the Tomsk City Department of the NKVD (01.1940 – 03.1941). Active participant in mass repressions in Siberia in the 1930s
A native of the Vyatka province, primary education, sausage maker, Russian, member of the RCP(b) since 1920 (with a break in 1923-1930). From 1920 in the Biysk Cheka, in 1922 sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment for "the destruction of a group of captured bandits" and "illegal sale of captured property" in the Altai Mountains (served 8 months). From 1922 - "undercover work", then a district commissioner, an employee of the INFO-SPO, from 1933 - in the Special Department of the Siberian Military District, from 1936 - head of the Special Department of the Oirotsky Regional NKVD, from 1937 - head of the KRO of the Anzhero-Sudzhensk City District, from 1938 - at the head of the SPO of the Tomsk City District of the NKVD, from 1939 - acting head and head of the Tomsk City District. In 1941 he was transferred to the NKVD of the Novosibirsk Region as deputy head of the SPO UNKVD, from 1942 head of the KRO UNKVD NSO, GB captain, in 1944 - head of the Operations Department of the NKVD, then headed the prisoner of war camp No. 199 and department "B" UMGB NSO, dismissed in 1950 "due to illness". Colonel (1945). Awarded the "Honorary Chekist" badge, the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Star, the Red Banner, and the Badge of Honor. In 1957 he was subject to criminal prosecution for participating in mass repressions, but escaped punishment. In the 1960s, he wrote denunciations of the surviving repressed, as well as memoirs. He lived in Novosibirsk, died in 1986.
