Smyshlyaev Roman Andreevich
Head of the Tomsk City Department of the NKVD (10.1943 – 09.1944)
Born in 1898 in the Vyatka province to a family of farmers, primary education. At the age of fourteen he began his career in timber rafting, served in the army. He began his service in the NKVD in 1920 in the Biysk city police department. Beginning in the mid-1920s, he headed the Biysk, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Stalin city police departments, worked in the Siberian regional police department and in the workers' and peasants' militia department of the Novosibirsk region. With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, he served as a battalion commander, deputy chief of staff in the militia division of the NKVD troops for the protection of the rear of the Southern Front. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus". Having been seconded to Siberia, from October 1942 he was deputy chief of the Tomsk city NKVD department for militia. After the division of the NKVD into three departments in April 1943: the People's Commissariat of State Security, the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs, and the SMERSH Counterintelligence Directorate, he was appointed head of the NKVD city department. After the formation of the Tomsk Region in August 1944, he again headed the police of the city of Tomsk, which had now become the regional center. He was awarded the Order of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner for long service. On May 22, 1954, with the rank of lieutenant colonel, he was discharged into the reserve due to illness. He died in 1973 and was buried in Penza at the Novo-Zapadnoye Cemetery.

I, the district commandant of the Pudinsk commandant's office of the OSP UNKVD for the Territory Yamalitdinov, having examined the personal file of the labor settler Demidov Gennady Trofimovich, born in 1928, with a view to releasing him from labor exile
FOUND:
In March 1930, the labor settler Demidov Gennady Trofimovich was exiled from the village of Klyavinskoye in the Kuibyshevsky district of the Novosibirsk region in the family of his father (mother) Demidov Trofim Kondratyevich.
At the time of moving into the labor settlement, labor settler Demidov G.T. was 2 years ___ months old.
During his time in the labor settlement, Demidov Gennady Trofimovich did not disgrace himself in any way.
There are no compromising materials on him. Therefore, based on the above and guided by the Resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 1143-280s of 22/10/1938 and the explanation of the NKVD of the USSR No. 9 of 8/1/1940.
DECIDED
Labor settler Demidov Gennady Trofimovich, originating from the village of Klyavinskoye, Kuibyshevsky District, Novosibirsk Region, is to be removed from the register of labor settlers without the right to reside in restricted areas of the USSR.
His children should be removed from the register along with him.

I, Deputy Head of the Pudinsky RO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tomsk Region, Lieutenant Yamalitdinov, have reviewed personal file No. 22518 of the special settler, former Kulak Demidova Maria Trofimovna, born in 1930.
FOUND:
Special settler Demidova Maria Trofimovna, originating from the village of Klyavinskoye, Kuibyshevsky district, Novosibirsk region (territory), is the daughter of the deported special settler Demidov Trofim Kondratyevich.
During the period of stay in the special settlement, the special settler Demidova Maria Trofimovna turned 16 years old. During the time of stay in the labor settlement, Demidova Maria Trofimovna did not disgrace herself in any way.
