Demidov Trofim Kondratievich
Exiled as a kulak from Novosibirsk Oblast to Narym Krai (1930)
Genus. in 1888 (1889) in the village of Kabaevka, Buguruslan district, Chkalov region.
[Ed.: Kabaevka village in Buguruslan district of Samara province].
Russian, citizen of the USSR, no pension, lower education, no special education or profession.
Served in the Tsarist army from 1915 to 1917. In the Red Army in 1917. Married.
Family:
- Demidova's wife Olga Nikolaevna, born in 1906, removed from the register on 03/23/1950;
- son Demidov Gennady Trofimovich, born in 1925 (1928), removed from the register on June 2, 1945. In 1949, he lived in the village of Charfo, Pudinsky District, Tomsk Region;
- Demidova's daughter (married name Krepkina) Valentina Trofimovna, born in 1929 (1927), removed from the register on 21.02.1946. In 1949, she lived in the village of Lushnikovo, Pudinsky District, Tomsk Region.
- daughter Demidova Maria Trofimovna born in 1928 (1930), removed from the register on 02/14/1947.
- brother Demidov Aleksey Kondratyevich, born in 1898, lives in the village of Kabayevka, Bugurslansky district, Chkalov region (no information for 10 years).
In 1929 he lived in the village of Klyavino [Klyavinskoye] , Barabinsky (Kuibyshevsky) district of the Novosibirsk region. [The village of Klyavino currently does not exist]. By the decision of the Yefremovsky village council of the Kuibyshevsky district in 1929 he was deprived of voting rights "for exploiting the labor of others" and "exiled beyond the swamp". And in 1930, as a kulak, he was exiled (12.12.1930?) with his family to a special settlement in the Narymsky district, Pudinsky district commandant's office. He worked in the "Luch Severa" artel as a felt bootmaker.
In April 1935, Demidov T.K. tried to escape from the special settlement, and hid for at least a month. The commandant of the settlement commandant's office described his features in a search request: "medium height, dark blond hair, blue eyes, deep in the face, plump."
On April 29, 1940, the Pudinsky People's Court sentenced him to 2 years in a labor camp under Article 168 of the Criminal Code ("Intentional destruction of crops and damage to field-protecting and other plantings"), but in December 1941 he was released from the labor camp on the basis of a secret decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated November 24, 1941.
In 1942, Demidov was listed as a labor settler in the village of Chaga in the Pudinsky District. The commandant of the Pudinsky village commandant's office reported on his unauthorized departures from the village of Chaga to neighboring villages of the Sherstobitovsky village council, "where he illegally and privately rolled felt boots for the residents of the village."
In January 1947, he received permission to leave his place of settlement for permanent residence in the Parabelsky District of Tomsk Oblast, to live with his daughter Valentina Demidova, and to be registered with the Parabelsky Special Commandant's Office. However, there is no evidence that he moved, since according to documents, in 1949 he lived in the village of Lushnikovo, Pudinsky District, Tomsk Oblast.
Special settler, former kulak Trofim Kondratyevich Demidov was removed from the special settlement register on March 23, 1950, in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 21, 1950 No. 245-74ss and the order of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 00105? of February 7, 1950. In February 1951, his Personal File No. 133 was submitted to the archive.

Comments:
1. Article 168 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (and therefore the USSR within its framework) from 1938 concerned the deliberate damage to crops and damage to field-protecting and other plantings. Punishment provided for correctional labor for up to two years, or a fine, or the imposition of an obligation to make amends for the damage caused.
Source: Article 168. Intentional destruction of crops and damage to field-protecting and other plantings .
2. There was a secret decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated November 24, 1941, not subject to publication, "On the release from punishment of those convicted of certain categories of crimes." Apparently, Demidov T.K. was in category "b": "to release from further serving of punishment those convicted of minor domestic crimes, who have less than a year left on their sentence by the time the decree was issued on November 24."
