Yosht Rudolf Rudolfovich
Pole. Detained while crossing the border, arrested (1940)
Born in 1913 in Nikolaev, Lviv region. Pole, no military registration, citizen of Poland. In 1940 he lived in Lviv, Obertynskaya No. 23. Worked as an instructor-driver in a workers' artel.
He was arrested on February 12, 1940, by the Przemysl border detachment while crossing the border from Germany to the USSR, accused of a crime under Article 80 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR and sent to prison in Przemysl. As of June 23, 1941, he was in prison, presumably in Przemysl or Odessa.
His prisoner registration card was filed in a separate envelope in the file of Tomsk prison inmate Filipyak Semyon, another Pole arrested in March 1940 for the same crime and amnestied on August 28, 1941, on the basis of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 12, 1941.
There is no information about the fate of Rudolf Yosht after June 23, 1941.
