Born in 1924 in Leningrad. In 1937, after her father was arrested, she was exiled with her mother and sister to the village of Muromtsevo in the Omsk Region. In 1939, she left exile to live with her grandmother in Leningrad. Before the war, she finished 7th grade and went to work at a plastics factory. She looked after her paralyzed grandmother, who later died during the siege. She was evacuated to the Omsk Region in 1942 and came to live with her mother and sister in the village of Muromtsevo. She returned to Leningrad in 1950. She worked as an accountant her entire life, first at the Pasteur Hospital and then in various construction departments.
