Voitinsky Savely Osipovich
Definition: Professor of mathematics at the St. Petersburg Electrotechnical Institute, author of many textbooks on higher mathematics.

Genus. 1857, until retirement he held the position of head of the educational department of the Electrotechnical Institute. In the late 1900s, he organized courses in Terijoki to prepare young people for higher technical institutions, where A.N. Tolstoy studied. The Bolsheviks were hiding at the Voitinsky dacha in Teriokki (N. Krylenko and others). In 1918 Voitinsky was elected treasurer of the Terik Council. After the White Finns came to power, he was arrested, beaten and died as a result of an escape in the summer of 1918 for participating in the work of the council.
