Genus. in 1921 in Leningrad. Studied at Leningrad University. In 1941 he volunteered for the war, and in the fall of 1941 he was captured by the Germans. Released from captivity at the request of relatives in Germany. In 1942 he ended up in Estonia, where he was treated for tuberculosis. At the end of August 1944 he went to East Prussia for treatment. In 1945, SMERSH was arrested in Germany; according to some sources, he surrendered himself. Transported to the USSR. Sentenced to 10 years in labor camp for treason. Transferred to the Mariinsky camp for tuberculosis in Baim (Siberia). Died in custody in 1947.
