Genus. in Tbilisi in 1941. From the age of 20 he began acting in films and appeared in more than 30 films. At the age of 24 (in 1965) he received the title of Honored Artist of Georgia. He served at the Georgian State Academic Theater named after Shota Rustaveli, and tried himself as a director and screenwriter for a number of feature and television films. In 1971 he emigrated to Germany, a year later he moved to the USA.
